Team Green: LEED and Sustainable/Environmental Building Specialists

Team Commercial Construction is very proud of our early involvement and on-going commitment to sustainable construction throughout the Bay Area. As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Team employs in-house LEED Accredited Professionals who are fully trained in all aspects of the LEED Green Building Rating System and best practice environmental building techniques.

Team specializes in sustainable construction for existing buildings (LEED-EB) and commercial interiors (LEED-CI). We offer green services including construction, consulting/value engineering and LEED certification management.

Green Construction
Our construction practices incorporate green building principles from demolition to close out. Team will divert at least 65% of construction and demolition waste from landfill, including material source separation for reuse and recycling. We implement strict indoor air quality management procedures including HEPA quality air scrubbers. Our eco-friendly construction techniques help to isolate the project sites and avoid subjecting neighboring tenants to the hazards of traditional construction methods.

Consulting/Value Engineering
Team Commercial Construction is focused on achieving maximum life-cycle cost savings for projects while meeting your green goals. We can provide consulting services to identify sensible green design and construction strategies for both commercial interiors and existing facilities. LEED value engineering services include review of design documents for LEED compliance.

LEED Certification
Our LEED Accredited Professionals provide effective project management strategies that will generate successful LEED project certification. We will work with you to develop green building management policies and identify the impacts to your budget while providing creative solutions to accomplish LEED project goals.

LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB)
The LEED for Existing Buildings Rating System helps building owners and operators measure operations, improvements and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts. LEED for Existing Buildings addresses whole-building cleaning and maintenance issues (including chemical use), recycling programs, exterior maintenance programs, and systems upgrades. It can be applied both to existing buildings seeking LEED certification for the first time and to projects previously certified under LEED for New Construction or Core & Shell.

LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI)
LEED for Commercial Interiors is the green benchmark for the tenant improvement market. It is the recognized system for certifying high-performance green interiors that are healthy, productive places to work; are less costly to operate and maintain; and have a reduced environmental footprint. LEED for Commercial Interiors gives the power to make sustainable choices to tenants and designers, who do not always have control over whole building operations
